Teladoc Web App

The Teladoc app earned the Golden Pencil Award for Mobile Utility in 2016. This project was a push to recreate the award-winning experience in web app form. There were some adjustments to information architecture and composition that were made to accommodate the change in device.
Flow #1 - Request a Visit

Request a Visit Flow

For all flows we wanted to provide users with additional information and assurances to help users better understand the the PI we were collecting in hopes of boosting trustworthiness. Additionally, we wanted to maintain a similar experience to the native app.

The solution we came up with was creating a sidebar to house the additional info and using the sequential form flow.

Flow #1 - Request a Visit

Video Test Flow

The Video Test Flow was an added step to the Request a Visit Flow that did not exist on the Native App. Since this experience is browser based we needed to verify whether the user had the appropriate hardware and technology to execute a video visit on their device

Additional challenges included checking IP addresses to determine legal restrictions due to state laws, establishing strong security to be compliant with HIPAA privacy laws, and extablishing low-friction alternatives if video test failed.
